Frequently Asked Questions:What happens if Crackers break the DRM?
The crack for the our DRM requires a very a lengthy, time-consuming process. But we also have implemented a backup strategy to counter this problem...
Can someone discover the encryption keys?
Yes, the DRM works on the principal that it will be cracked one day. But by the time someone decodes the message, the system will already have worked because these products tend to have a short shelf life.
Encryption... Is that the "Amazing" idea?
Never underestimate the simple solutions. Our DRM technologies and strategies are all proven to give time. Enough time to sell this product within its short shelf life!
What if the game is leaked before its release date?
Current DRMs very rarely last more than the first day of its official release. Now consider that most games are released on a staggered system. Normally it is North America first, then five days later Europe, and finally three days after that Asia and Australia.
Illegal downloaders will have access to your product several days before the official release in those regions. The strategy targets these downloaders and can potentially turn them into paying customers...
Why can’t other security companies do the same thing?
Firstly, the DRM is patented and guarded. But what really makes us unique is the innovation we use, and that cannot be copied...
What about Cloud Computing?
To Publishers, this system seems to promise it all. But for customers these online distribution systems offer no real benefits. The main selling point is that any cheap computer system can run high-end graphics. But most PC Gamers will already have machines that can offer better resolutions. More importantly the customer will never physically own their game. Not only does a customer have to pay the console retail price for the much cheaper PC game, they have to pay a membership fee on top of that!
How can you convince people to pay?
We can do this by showing them that it is far more convenient than piracy. We will make sure that each game receives the maximum amount of revenue it deserves.
Are really more convenient for game players? More convenient than Piracy...?
Yes, because by allowing the player to sample the game, they can positively engage with it. When the game is taken from them, it is much more convenient to pay for access to the game legally than search for a pirated version. In any case, the next version to be downloaded would be highly likely to to be protected as well, and they will, again, only get so far before being offered the chance to purchase it legally...
What happens when the encryption keys are broken?
Once the encryption is broken they still have to finish breaking the main executable file. The whole file has to be rewritten in order for it to work properly. It's not a simple case of skipping the security checks.
What about Illegal Torrents?
There are many information links that connect an illegal downloader to an illegal file. By destroying these links and every piece of information, it becomes almost impossible to illegally download.
What about Illegal File Sharing?
File Sharing has weaknesses - the information links are very open and people who sign up to forums are also easier to track. We have first-hand knowledge of these sites and the law-bound moderators.
What about removing the Piracy Chain?
There are three groups in the piracy industry; we are only interested in the last! The illegal downloaders make up roughly 95% of the piracy market! These are the potential customers!
It can't be that Easy...?
Yes, there are challenges with piracy, but it has unexploited weaknesses. Companies invest solely in DRMs, with the belief that this will stop piracy. We believes in investing in the human element of piracy and converting illegal downloaders into paying customers.
Will this work?
Yes! We know from our extensive piracy experience, that this plan will work. Get in touch today to find out how we can help you...
